It’s Not Funny

Clyde

Father of three | Founder of Shake It Up

He put the keys in the ignition and decided he wouldn’t drive anywhere until he had worked out a plan – he decided to find a cure

I don’t think that I have ever met another person with such a positive outlook as Clyde. The really great thing about talking with him is that no matter how bad your day might be you will end up feeling good, with a good old laugh along the way. He’s not just positive, but humble and clever – a quiet Aussie achiever – you get the picture!

So how did Clyde take the news that he has Parkinson’s Disease, he didn’t just drive off into the sunset, he decided to find a cure. He went onto establish The Shake It Up Australia Foundation. Leadership comes naturally to Clyde so the employees of his company willingly offer their full support rallying around him, making him stronger for it.

I had to ask him what would he tell another PD sufferer and he replied without hesitation, “don’t give up hope”.
